Salvageable Report

Esta página aún no está disponible en tu idioma.

A detailed list of all salvageable items, organized by room, with photos and inventory details for processing, cleaning, or valuation.

The Salvageable Report shows by default:

  • Item Photos: Visual documentation of each item

  • Item Details: Name and description

  • Quantity: Number of identical items

  • Room Location: Items grouped by the room where they were found

  • Label Information: Items grouped by their box or tag (PDF)

You can add more columns — such as brand, model, size, condition, storage category, cleaning category, and comments — under Column Selection (see below).

This report is pre-configured to focus on items that can be salvaged and restored, excluding non-salvageable items.

Available as: PDF or Spreadsheet (XLSX). PDFs include photos and professional formatting, while spreadsheets provide sortable data you can filter and manipulate.

Example Salvageable Report showing items with photos

Best for:

  • Tracking items in storage or custody

  • Planning cleaning and restoration work

  • Documenting salvageable inventory for claims

  • Sharing item lists with cleaning or restoration vendors

Not ideal for:

  • Non-salvageable items only (use Non-Salvageable Report)

  • Visual-first presentations (use Photo Report)

  • Quick job overviews (use Job Summary Report)

  1. Open your job in the web app

  2. Click the Reports tab (top right)

  3. Click Generate Report

  4. Select Salvageable Report from the list

  5. Choose PDF or Spreadsheet format

  6. Customize your options under Advanced Options (see below)

  7. Click Generate Report

Note: Most reports download immediately. Large jobs (2000+ items) are emailed to you when ready.

Default: Enabled

Adds your organization’s logo to the report header.

Default: Enabled

Includes a summary section showing:

  • Total item counts

  • Number of boxes and tags

  • Number of textile labels, broken down by bulk, single and garment bag (if the job has any)

  • Non-salvageable item count (if applicable)

Default: Disabled (shown when Show Summary is on)

Also counts boxes that were created but never had any items scanned into them, such as stickers printed ahead of packing. The Boxes count then shows how many of them are empty, for example Boxes: 89 (17 empty; S: 53, M: 19, Other: 17). Leave it off to count only boxes that hold at least one item, which matches the Boxes count on the job page. Tag Items and Textiles are unaffected — they always count only labels that hold items.

Default: Enabled

Organizes the report into separate sections for each room:

  • Keeps information organized by location

  • Makes large jobs easier to navigate

Default: Enabled (PDF only)

Creates separate sections for each box or bag label:

  • Useful when items are already packed

  • Shows exactly what’s in each container

Default: Disabled (PDF only)

Adds a confirmation sign-off section with an empty signature line at the end of the report.

Default: Disabled (Spreadsheet only)

Adds up to five of each item’s additional photos to the spreadsheet, one photo per column, at the far right of the table after every other column. These columns are left out of the column filters, so sorting and filtering still work on the item data. Jobs with many photos take longer to generate with this turned on.

Salvageable Report customization options

Default: Storage Categories set to Storage, Left On Site, Third Party, and Other; Labels set to every type except Non-Salvageable

Use filters to include only specific items in the report. The defaults leave out non-salvageable items — if you clear a filter completely, items of every type are included for that filter, including non-salvageable ones.

Available filters:

  • Rooms: Filter by specific rooms. Select “No Room” to include unassigned items

  • Created Date: Include only items created within a date range

  • Storage Categories: Filter by where items are stored (Storage, Left On Site, Third Party, Non-Salvage, Other)

  • Cleaning Categories: Filter by cleaning requirements (As Is, Needs Cleaning, Biohazard, Unknown)

  • Content Categories: Filter by content type (e.g., Electronics, Kitchenware)

  • Labels: Filter by label type (Box, Tag, Textile, Garment Bag, Non-Salvageable, Other, or No Label)

  • Item Hashtags: Include only items with specific hashtags

  • Flagged items only: Include only items flagged for review

When you select multiple options in a filter, the report includes items matching any of those selections.
