Albi Integration

Connect your Albi (albiware.com) account to ContentsPal so that projects created in Albi automatically become jobs in ContentsPal - with the customer, property address, and insurance details already filled in.

What the integration does

Once connected, ContentsPal listens for project activity in your Albi account. When a project is created or updated in Albi, ContentsPal automatically creates (or updates) a matching job:

  • The job is named after the Albi project.

  • Customer, property address, and insurance details are copied over.

  • Each Albi project maps to exactly one ContentsPal job — later updates in Albi update the same job instead of creating duplicates.

You choose which Albi project types are imported — by default only Contents projects, but you can change this. See Choose your project scope below.

Before you start

  • You must be an owner or admin of your ContentsPal organization.

  • You need your Albi API key. In Albi, open Settings → Integrations to find it.

Albi's Settings → Integrations page, where the Albi API key lives

Connect Albi

  1. In ContentsPal, open Organization → Settings → Integrations and select the Partners tab, then choose Albi from the list.

The Partners tab in ContentsPal with Albi selected

  2. Paste your Albi API key into the Albi API key field and click Setup Albi Integration.

Entering the Albi API key and clicking Setup Albi Integration

  3. ContentsPal connects to Albi and confirms the link is set up.

The confirmation dialog shown after a successful setup

The Albi panel now shows a Connected status, a masked API key, the project events it's syncing, and the connection date. You can return here any time to Disconnect.

The Albi integration in the Connected state

That's it — Albi projects in your selected project scope will now flow into ContentsPal automatically.

Choose your project scope

Albi accounts can have several project types (Contents, Reconstruction, Mold, Fire, and so on). ContentsPal only creates jobs for the project types you select, so unrelated work doesn't clutter your job list.

In the connected Albi panel, the Project scope section lists the project types pulled from your Albi account. Tick the types you want to bring into ContentsPal and click Save scope.

  • When you first connect, ContentsPal pre-selects your Contents project type(s).

  • A project whose type isn't selected is ignored — no job is created for it.

  • If you don't select any type, no projects are ingested.

  • Added a new project type in Albi? Use the refresh button next to Project scope to pull the latest list.

Fields that are empty in Albi are left untouched in ContentsPal, so any details you add to a job in ContentsPal are preserved when the project updates.

Disconnect

To stop syncing, open Organization → Settings → Integrations → Partners → Albi and click Disconnect. This removes the link from your Albi account and clears the stored API key. Existing jobs in ContentsPal are not affected; new Albi projects simply stop creating jobs until you reconnect.

Troubleshooting

  • "Setup Albi Integration" reports an error — Double-check the API key was copied correctly from Albi's Settings → Integrations page. The dialog shows the response returned by Albi, which usually explains the problem.

  • A new Albi project didn't create a job — Confirm the integration still shows Connected, and that the project was created/updated after you connected. Brand-new connections only pick up activity going forward. Also check your Project scope — if the project's type isn't selected, ContentsPal ignores it.

  • I'm not an admin — Only organization owners and admins can connect or disconnect partner integrations. Ask an admin on your team to set it up.
