Update an Item’s Status
Open the Custody tab.
Open the item by either:
• Tapping Scan a Label and scanning the item’s QR code, or
• Selecting the item from the list.Tap the Status field.
Choose the new status (for example: In Storage, Cleaned, etc.).
(Tip: If the item moved during cleaning, update the location too.)
Update an Item’s Location
In the item view, tap the Location field.
Update the location by:
• Choosing from the dropdown, or
• Scanning the location’s QR code.Confirm the updated location displays correctly.
Add Photos
Tap the Add Photo or camera option.
Take a picture of the item or box.
Save the photo.
(Note: Photos added here attach only to the selected item or box. They do not create new inventory entries.)
Save Your Changes
Review the updated status, location, and photos.
Tap Save to apply your changes.
Best Practices
• Scan QR codes whenever possible to reduce errors.
• Add photos after cleaning to maintain a clear history of item condition.
Troubleshooting
QR code won’t scan: Clean the label or try manual selection.
Status won’t update: Check your network connection and permissions.
Photos not showing: Close and reopen the item; syncing may take a moment.
