If your team didn’t use the app in the field and only took photos of items, you can upload those images later from the office, let AI process them, and assign the correct labels and tags. This keeps your inventory complete and accurate.
1. Access Bulk Image Upload
Open the job where you want to import photos.
Go to Job Settings.
Click Bulk Image Upload.
2. Upload Images
Drag and drop one or multiple images into the upload window.
Example: upload a single photo of a room, or dozens of images taken in the field.
Choose how you want AI to process the image(s):
Single Item Mode: AI identifies one main object in the photo.
Multiple Items Mode: AI detects multiple objects within the photo.
(Optional) Assign additional details before uploading:
Room (e.g., Living Room, Kitchen).
Salvage Category (e.g., Salvageable, Non-Salvageable, Storage).
Click Upload.
✅ You’ll receive an email notification once AI has finished processing the images.
3. Review AI-Identified Items
Refresh the job page after processing is complete.
In the job view, you’ll see thumbnails of your uploaded images with AI-detected items.
Depending on the mode you chose:
Multiple Items Mode → Several objects will be highlighted.
Single Item Mode → AI identifies the main object only.
4. Add or Create Tags for Items
Select an item (e.g., an office chair).
If no tag is assigned:
Choose an existing tag from the dropdown.
Or create a new one:
Go to the Custody tab.
Click Create Labels.
Enter a name (e.g., Office Chair), set the quantity, and save.
Return to the item, search for the new tag, and click Save.
✅ The item is now tied to the correct tag.
5. Print Labels
Once an item is tagged, you can generate its QR code label.
Select the item and click Print Selected Labels.
Choose your label format and print directly from your computer.
6. Handling Edge Cases
If you run out of labels in the field:
Team members can manually generate QR codes in the mobile app.
These will appear in the Custody tab for later printing.
If tags were forgotten in the field:
Use bulk image import + manual label creation in the office to fix it after the job.
Key Takeaways
Use bulk image upload when field photos weren’t taken inside the app.
AI can identify one or multiple items per image.
Tags can be added later — either by reusing existing ones or creating new ones.
QR code labels can always be printed afterward, even for manually generated tags.
